How do I earn continuing education credits?

Continuing education credit hours are awarded for successful completion of on-site events and on-line lessons. The number of credit hours earned is identified on a certificate awarded at the completion of the on-site event and on-line lessons. The number of continuing education credits is determined by each discipline's accreditation organization.

How long do I have to take the on-line lessons?

To enroll in an on-site event, you must complete the applicable on-line lessons.

If you desire to enroll in only on-line lessons, you may complete the lessons at your own pace. However, if you choose to enroll in an on-site event you must complete the applicable on-line lessons prior to enrolling in an on-site event.

Are there course prerequisites?

You must complete the applicable on-line lessons prior to enrolling in an on-site event.

Must I complete an exam?

A comprehensive pre-test or pre-learning inventory is given before each lesson. A post-test or post learning self-assessment is given after you have completed the on-line lessons in the module. You must complete these required elements to receive either your continuing education certificate or BORDERS certificate of completion.

For what disciplines does BORDERS offer CE credit?
